How long before my event should I book a photographer?
For small events a few weeks can be enough, but conferences or busy dates are best booked several months ahead to secure experienced photographers.
Who owns the images and how can we use them?
Image rights and licensing are agreed between you and the photographer in the brief — clarify whether you need full commercial rights, press use, or internal reporting copies.
What if our event runs late or the schedule changes?
Discuss flexibility in your brief. Most photographers will agree additional hours or changed logistics directly; any extra time or travel is negotiated with the freelancer.
How do I know which photographer is right for our event?
