About this project

A continuation of Ironclad’s story in cast iron.

Project: Cast enamel lids

Disciplines: Industrial Design

Ironclad had built a loyal following around its cast iron cookware, but customers were asking for a missing piece in the range, a lid. The challenge was to design a cast enamel lid collection that felt like it had always belonged, matching the brand’s focus on craftsmanship, durability, and everyday use.

Working alongside Ironclad’s creative lead, I developed the design from early sketches through to production ready CAD, using iterative 3D printing and refinement to test fit, form, and usability. The final lid completed Ironclad’s core cookware range and extended the brand’s design language through careful detailing, including the signature Peak motif.
