Project overview
26000 Vodka are a super-premium, private-label vodka distillery based in Nelson, New Zealand. In late 2021 I had the privilege of developing a fully custom front-end for their new Shopify store.
I was thrilled to be involved with this project. I worked directly with the designer to implement the striking, modern aesthetic that the client desired. This project presented a great opportunity to build a Shopify theme from the ground up using the new Online Store 2.0 framework, and involved building some interesting new theme sections.
The project was completed with the purpose of implementing the client's design while adhering to Shopify best practices and performance at heart.
As a business that sells alcohol, adherence to local alcohol laws are important for the client to observe. To ensure this, a custom age-verification popup based on the client's design was implemented, with checks ensuring that this had been acknowledged by the customer before they would be allowed to check out.
