Apostle Hot Sauce is an award-winning hot sauce made in Paekākāriki, Wellington by the couple Lydia & Mat.
Apostle Hot Sauce has been brewing since 2018 and comes in a range of unique flavours with a bespoke brand and one-of-a-kind packaging design.

The brief
Apostle Hot Sauce needed a custom Shopify store designed and built to match their brand and tie into their values around sustainability. They required some custom coding to create the store locator tool and recipes section.
The strategy
Create a Shopify store that has a strong visual connection to the Apostle Hot Sauce brand. Add in some custom coding for the store locator and spice it up with beautiful recipes.
The site needed to:
- Allow for easy bottle returns
- Give customers a first-class e-commerce experience
- House a range of e-commerce products
The results
The store is beautiful and engaging., the store locator is a breeze to use and their products fly off the shelves.
