Meet Jo Cao: Branding & Marketing Designer in Wellington

Hi, I'm Jo, a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience, specialising in branding and marketing design.

•   Marketing design is my jam, with experience across digital communication for both in-house and agency settings. I work fast and effectively in this area thanks to years of hands-on experience.

•   Branding, on the other hand, takes more time, care, and strategy, so I only take on 1–2 branding projects per month to ensure quality and focus.

Currently, I work part-time as an in-house marketing/ coordinate designer for Alsco Uniforms, what I do is a bit of everything, from social media posts, posters, leaflets, PowerPoint presentations, reports, and brochures, video editing, etc.

​

I also have a small studio called o_o Studio, where you can see a selection of my work. I don’t showcase everything there, so if you’re looking for examples in a specific industry or style, feel free to reach out, I’d be happy to curate a few highlight projects for you.

My approach to design is simple: it should be both purposeful and visually engaging. That’s the philosophy I bring to every project I take on. When I'm not immersed in design, you'll find me drawing with watercolour or capturing nature beauty through my camera.
