Trick of the Light is an award-winning theatre company from Te Whanganui-A-Tara (Wellington).
They make theatre that is playful, inventive and thought-provoking.

Their shows range from dark cross-over works for adults and older children to biting political satire but are unified by their engaging, nuanced stories, inventive design, and belief that theatre should resonate with the wider world.

The brief
Trick of the Light were after a bespoke website to house all fo the content for there shows including media, crew and videos. They also needed an ecommerce section to sell merchandise.
The site needed to be a real showcase looking as engaging and. vibrant as their work.

The strategy
The strategy was to create a site that gave a sense of being at their shows. An ethereal sense of mystery and delight on every page.
The site needed to:

• Allow for easy content updates
• Give customers all the rich content such as photo galleries and videos
• House a range of ecommerce products

The results
Animated page elements that appear as you explore.
Extra content is revealed when clicked to allow for a clean presentation and improved user experience.
The site is beautiful and engaging.
