My focus is lower funnel — the part of marketing that most agencies skip past in favour of just running more ads. Offer clarity, website conversion rate, checkout friction, Google Ads, Merchant Center, email automation. The unglamorous stuff that's also the most measurable and the most directly connected to revenue.
The way I think about it: there's not much point filling a leaky funnel. Fix the conversion rate first, then scale the traffic. It's a somewhat obvious idea that gets overlooked more often than it should.
And when it comes to scaling, I've done it with some of NZ and AU's larger ecom brands — I know what's required to take an account from $1k to $10k to $100k a month in profitable ad spend. The work is closely enough tied to business performance that impact shows up fast.
When I'm not in accounts I'm usually cooking something or checking on my beehive.
