Planet Protectors - TV Segment

Planet Protectors is a series of shorts I came up with for the Children's television show What Now. They include a live action video of a child talking about how they protect the planet coupled with a animated segment talking about how this is important in a broader context.

Eco anxiety is a huge issue faced by young people around the world. The idea for this series came from wanting to put the power into the hands of our tamariki, by showing them how they can protect the planet and why it matters.

I pitched this idea to Whitebait Media as part of What Now with an animatic. For the production of the series my role was to create the animated segments. 6 episodes were created in total. This was done using Blender, After Effects, Procreate and Photoshop.
