Passion Project

Passion Project originates from a local church in Auckland, New Zealand, with the heart to help and care for the community. For their first ever Passion Project, they’re starting with helping elderly residents in social housing by offering free help and gifting them a Christmas treat box. The initiative is rooted in the purpose of giving back to the community, serving, and expressing care.

In my design approach, I incorporated serifs into the existing Neue Haas Grotesk logo to introduce a warm and approachable feel. The thoughtful addition of ribbons and tags further enhances the sense of care extended to those receiving the gifts. To ensure a cohesive experience, I designed consistently branded social media posts, Sunday service slides, and user-friendly sign-up forms to expand reach within the church community, encouraging volunteers to join in the efforts on the day.
