Not-for-profit Annual Report

Working with Auckland-based community organisation Te Waipuna Puawai, I wrote and project managed the process of creating their 2022 Annual Report for release in June 2023.

The client wanted to do more with this project than simply report the facts and figures. Instead, this was their opportunity to highlight the important, creative, and exceptional work being done across their wide-spanning community.

We took a storytelling approach, which involved me interviewing eight different leaders in the organisation. I unpacked not just the growth and results achieved over the last financial year - but also the transformations and impacts seen among participants of these programmes.

For the design of this project, I managed the partnership with my go-to graphic designer to ensure the fun yet professional tone being set in the content was reflected in the visual presentation. When working on projects of this kind, I typically take the lead in managing partnerships with other contractors. This way, my clients don't have to worry about coordinating timings, communications, or details.

I really enjoyed working on this project and having the opportunity to meet so many incredible, passionate people. I was proud to deliver this ahead of schedule and bring an added layer of purpose and shine to a project that is typically a source of stress for not-for-profits.
