Designing the Business Crime Prevention Booklet

The New Zealand Police's Business Crime Prevention booklet was created for New Zealand businesses nationwide to use as a guide for keeping their staff, customers, themselves and their businesses safe. The aim was to create an interesting design that provided the necessary information in an eye-catching and easy-to-read layout, with editable checklists and record logs for users to fill in.

It was created as an A5 document, to be distributed by the Retail Crime Prevention Programme both as printed and digital versions. I created the booklet from scratch, using master pages and paragraph and character styles to maintain the design and branding consistently throughout, and allow for any easy updates in the future. I was also responsible for communicating with the printers, by sourcing quotes, supplying the finalised print-ready documents and approving the proofs.

This project was completed when I was the in-house graphic designer for the New Zealand Police.
