Kia ora! I'm an experienced copy editor, proofreader, and content writer with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for storytelling. As an American-born New Zealander, I have experience editing both UK and American English.

My editing qualification is the Whitireia Graduate Diploma in Publishing. This apprenticeship-based programme is considered the industry standard in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond.

Copy editing: I comb through your manuscript at the sentence level to polish the language and style. I also weed out embarrassing consistency errors and suggest minor rewrites to improve clarity.

​Proofreading: I provide the final quality control check for your novel or non-fiction project just before publication. This is especially important for indie authors self-publishing their work.

Developmental editing: I collaborate with you in the early stages of your project to guide its structure and cohesion, assist with rewrites, and provide ongoing support as you complete the manuscript.

Writing: I develop existing content or work with you to craft your message. I have experience ghostwriting blogs, creating engaging website content, and writing marketing copy for print books.
