Launching a new product straight into mainstream retail

Our client had a new brand they wished to bring to life called Attimo. They didn’t rock up to the Woolworths category review with a thick folder of sales data, because there wasn’t any. It was a brand-new, Italian-made instant pasta trying to break into mainstream NZ retail. All they had were product samples… and the brand & packaging we designed.

Turns out that can be more than enough when executed well. The buyers said a resounding yes. Now Attimo’s on shelves across South Island New World and Four Square stores, with the North Island warming up their forks for next year and more product development in the pipeline to expand the brands offerings.

Moral of the story? Packaging isn’t the parsley on top, it’s part of the pitch and sometimes it is the pitch.
