The Salvation Army

For over 20 years The Salvation Army and Wattie's have worked in partnership to support New Zealand communities in need through their food bank programmes.

In 2016 I worked with the two organisations to create a promotional video that would appear in primary and intermediate school assemblies throughout the country. The goal was to encourage students to bring non-perishable foods to school and create art installations with the cans. These cans would later be donated to the school's local Salvation Army food bank.

Over the years the Wattie's Cans For Good initiative has collected thousands of cans of food for local food banks, and the competition element continues to grow from year to year.
