Face It NZ masks was born in the first week of New Zealand's Level 4 Covid-19 lockdown.
I saw the opportunity to offer fellow Kiwis a level of protection as the virus spread across the country. I was able to combine my sewing and creative skills with my social media and communication abilities to create a small business.

After two years, I had provided over 3500 masks across the country, and more internationally to the UK, USA and Australia.

Starting and running Face It NZ was been an amazing journey where I have realised a passion for business - and providing a product that is needed and appreciated by many. I learnt how to put myself out there, communicate with customers, write media releases, and manage social media accounts all while making the product itself.

Due to this experience I was inspired to upskill. Over the course of a year, I completed a Certificate in Small Business, Level 4 through Open Polytechnic,
