About this project
Task: To create an ecommerce website for Spirited Gifts who is an online gift box business selling a broad range of gift boxes with and without alcohol.
The Challenge: Our challenge was to create a brand for a new entity in a competitive market that had a real point of difference. The first step was to initiate a naming exercise. Finding a catchy name with two or three short syllables. We had to ensure the company name and the domain name of the name chosen was available, and that it could be trademarked. We then started the process with designing the gift boxes and arranged print and production from a Chinese manufacturer. We began the process of creating a series of gift boxes with the products which were supplied by the client and began photographing each of the boxes contents along with props and garnishes. We then designed and developed the website in Woocommmerce following the detailed site structure we had already developed. Set up all the categories and loaded all the products into the system.
The Outcome: Spirited Gifts™ is now live with a striking, easy to navigate website. As a brand new company they are already gaining an online presence. This will only get better with time and the continued attention to their SEO and online marketing campaigns.
