Tim Cotton is a Videographer + Photographer from Auckland
I have always had a passion for film-making. I directed and produced my first film at age 9 - 'Extreme Makeover - Duplo Edition.' It was an instant cult classic. Since then I've diversified a little, I picked up a marketing/management degree, sucked the corporate teat at Ogilvy, banged up a couple of houses, headed overseas, which is where I'd eventually experience my epiphany.
After teaming up with another budding NZ filmmaker in Montenegro my passion for film-making was reborn. Together we chased and documented the conspiracy that is the Yugoslavian Space Program.
Since returning home we've started our own small production company, producing "short films" (adverts) for small-medium sized business', music videos and continue our quest to become bonafide documentary makers.
I also work as a freelance videographer and photographer. My creative nous is what sets me apart from other videographers. I believe story-telling is incredibly key in the development of a brand and I therefore offer creative conceptualisation as apart of my offering.
