Established in 2011, Concept of the Good is the micro graphic design studio of me, Erin Stewart, based in Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Working on everything from corporate brands through to bespoke art projects, I utilise a large industry network to deliver traditional design expertise along with web development, copywriting, photography, print production and much, much more. Irrespective of size or scope, each project is undertaken with creative integrity and commercial discipline. Be it a business card or a retail fit-out, brochure, website or logotype, form and function run hand-in-hand.
This is the standard thing you’ll probably read about any small design studio, right? So what makes Concept of the Good different?
It’s a no-nonsense work ethic for one. There are no half-measures, no ambivalence, and no indifference. I’m honest in my words and forthright in my work. I get stuff done - no hassle, no fuss. I’m passionate about what I do, sure, but I don’t have any illusions about the nature of the work. It’s my job to provide good design. While a fair bit of expertise and experience certainly comes into things, it’s not brain science or rocket surgery. I’ll leave the big-noting to others. They’re better at it, obviously.
