Kia ora, I’m Bree Torkington.

I offer business analysis, improvement and writing services to both public and private organisations. I have a management degree, graduate diploma in economics. I excel at translating between government and other organisations, and providing simple systems to help organisations run better. I’ve worked in a range of government roles at the Ministry of Education, three councils and a District Health Board, and with a range of businesses and community groups.

I started this business so I could do more of the things I love.

I love working with government organisations to write strategies, policies, processes and plans that make sense to the people that will use them.

I love supporting businesses, community groups and charities to improve how they operate.

I love research, data analysis, economics and business writing.

I love being super organised and helping other people to find their way to keep on top of things.

I have spent the last twelve years working for a range of government organisations. Before that I was a chef, and worked in both banking and superannuation. I have a business degree and a graduate diploma in economics.
I grew up in Whangārei, before moving to Wellington for a decade - where I discovered my passions for both the public sector and helping organisations work better. I spent a couple of years in Auckland, and am now settled in Whangārei with my husband, step-daughter, cat and dog, plus a few chickens for good measure.
