In November 2018, I started working on a coworking lead generation campaign with Kristen from The Workshop Auckland. The Workshop is a coworking space in Ponsonby, Auckland that has a particular focus on social entrepreneurs.
I have worked with Kristen in the past on a few lead gen campaigns when I started freelancing, but also whilst I was in the Head of Growth at CoLo. I love coming up with marketing campaigns for coworking spaces because it requires you to do more than just drive random traffic to a website. The unique thing about the coworking industry is that growing the community with people that are not a good culture fit can have a negative affect on the existing community and therefore the overall business performance.
I created the landing pages using Webflow, and automated a few of the workflows using Zapier and Calendly. We mainly drove traffic through Facebook advertising using lookalike audiences of her existing community to keep the culture as intact as possible.
Kristen and I both developed a sales funnel that was used post lead acquisition.
