After reading the manuscript and talking with the author several times, I have been given plenty of liberty to come up with an illustration that reflects the spirit of the book. Mysterious in the beginning, the illustration unfolds as the reading goes further and deeper. It's also playful and welcoming, inviting readers to jump in. I have used my design and illustration skills, but also my business analyst and user experience background, which allowed me to better understand the needs of my client and provide him with a service that exceeded his expectations.
