'Shmeat' is an animated short film, funded by the New Zealand Film Commission and starring the voice of Geraldine Brophy. I worked on the film as the animator, editor and compositor. The short was animated in both Toonboom and After Effects, with assets from Illustrator and Photoshop. Shmeat screened at numerous festivals around the world, including premiering at Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. The film was also selected as part of 'NZ's Best' at the New Zealand International Film Festival in 2016, and won Best Animation at A Night of Horror Film Festival in Sydney.
