About this project
More than just light installations, HighLight is Hutt City’s 4 day carnival with live music, street theatre, as well as a broad food & beverage offering.
They were looking for an identity that would carry the event for the next 4-5 years, and brand collateral that would signal the international calibre of their event. It was important that the new brand beautifully balanced the highly creative and interactive installations with a real ‘Hutt’ community spirit.
As part of the rebrand, I created a suite of social media animations to strengthen the festival's playful brand identity and communicate important aspects of the programme in the lead up to the event in an funny and shareable way.
